Time: 9:00-11:00am
Location: KCBD 1103

This installment of the CRI Seminar Series is the third in our series of free training sessions about REDCap, a self-managed, secure, web-based solution designed to support data collection strategies for research studies. This month, CRI Business Analyst and REDCap expert Julissa Acevedo will help you expand your basic REDCap skill set with a session all about surveys.

This seminar will cover:

Creating Surveys: different types of surveys and how to create them

Survey User Rights: how to set the correct user rights for your team to manage and edit surveys

Distributing Surveys: how to distribute public and private surveys; how to set reminders

Tracking Surveys: how to use the participant list and survey log

Survey Features: automated surveys, notifications, stop actions, logins, queues, piping

Survey Responses: how to handle partial responses and how to edit completed responses

Survey Termination: how to disable your survey and archive or inactivate your project

In addition, Dr. David Beiser will be presenting his mobile app Qualia MEDCap, the first platform to enable health researchers to build custom patient-facing apps for clinical trials and other study designs without any programming. Complete details can be found here.

Basic working knowledge of REDCap is required for this session. If you’d like to review the slides from our past REDCap sessions, they are available here under “Past Seminars.”

Bringing your laptop to follow along is encouraged, but not required. Please register to reserve your seat.
