Improve your scientific computing skill set with the CRI Seminar Series.

This session will provide the introductory material necessary to become acquainted with all aspects of parallel computing and to gain an understanding of the benefits of properly harnessing parallel machines.

Topics covered will include embarrassingly parallel workflows, shared memory (OpenMP), distributed memory (MPI), Parallel I/O (MPI-IO), and GPUs (OpenACC and CUDA). While the seminar will not provide hands-on experience with these technologies, we will plan out future interactive workshops based on the interests of the attendees.

Please register to reserve your seat.
