Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics Online Information Session

January 23, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

Free

Over the past 30 years, biomedical informatics has emerged as an independent, rigorous discipline. Due to the rapid growth of clinical information systems, networked healthcare platforms, high-throughput genomic technologies, and consumer and public health informatics, the demand for knowledgeable and experienced staff and faculty has far outpaced the number of available trainees. Students who earn the University of Chicago Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics degree will be prepared with the necessary knowledge and technical skills to tackle everyday management issues and to guide large informatics projects in clinical and research settings. Join us for an online information session to learn program details and admission requirements as well as chat with program director Suzanne Cox, PhD.
