A key part of the CRI’s mission is to create opportunities for informatics education. From free training sessions to a degree program, we offer a range of ways for current and future researchers to develop their skills in this rapidly growing and changing field.

 CRI SEMINAR SERIES

Since 2012, the CRI has offered free training sessions for the University of Chicago community in informatics research tools and techniques. Topics include REDCap, clinical data, bioinformatics analysis, data visualization, high performance computing, grant preparation, and more.

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN BIOMEDICAL INFORMATICS

The Graham School MScBMI program provides a strong foundation for students to apply informatics tools and techniques to a diverse range of problems in the biological sciences and medical fields. CRI experts help plan curriculum and teach courses.
