Bioinformatics Training: Biological Interpretation of Gene, Transcript, and Protein Expression Data with IPA

November 17, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Join us for a free bioinformatics training workshop.

Title: Biological Interpretation of Gene, Transcript, and Protein Expression Data with IPA
Speaker: Jeffrey Knight, PhD, Field Application Scientist (QIAGEN Advanced Genomics)
Date: Thursday, November 17, 2016
Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm
Location: BSLC, room 018 (basement)

Details:

Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) can help you unlock the insights buried in your experimental data and discover hidden causal connections. With IPA you can quickly identify relationships, mechanisms, functions, and pathways of relevance that allow you to move beyond statistical analysis to novel biological insights and testable hypotheses.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will:

  • Explore IPA’s knowledge and discovery tools, including BioProfiler
  • Learn how to format their own data, analyze it in IPA, and interpret the results

Participants must bring their own laptop computers.

The size of the room limits us to 30 participants. Please register to reserve your seat.
