Making the Most of REDCap: Beyond the Basics
Speaker: Julissa Acevedo
Date: Thursday, December 1, 2016
Time: 2:00-3:00pm
Location: BSLC 115

This installment of the CRI Seminar Series is the second in our series of free training sessions about REDCap, a self-managed, secure, web-based solution designed to support data collection strategies for research studies. This month, CRI Business Analyst and REDCap expert Julissa Acevedo will help you expand on your basic REDCap skill set by covering intermediate and advanced topics.

This seminar will cover:

Longitudinal Data Collection: how to set up your project for longitudinal data collection

Data Dictionary Edits via Excel: how to edit your data dictionary in Excel to make mass changes

Data Import Tool: how to import previously collected data from Excel or Access into REDCap

Data Exports, Reports, and Stats: how to view and analyze your data via exports, reports, and statistical charts

User Rights: including user roles, data access groups, and double-data entry

Some basic REDCap knowledge is required for this session. If you’d like to review the slides from our Introduction to REDCap session that took place in September, they are available here under “Past Seminars.”

Bringing your laptop to follow along is encouraged, but not required. Please register to reserve your seat.
