Important Update: Transition of CRI Service Lines to Federal Recharge Center & New FY25 Hourly Rates

By News

CRI Collaborators,

Effective July 1st, 2024, all service lines of the Center for Research Informatics (CRI) are now operating within a federal recharge center. This transition is part of our commitment to sustain services supported or subsidized by federal awards and ensure compliance with federal regulations outlined in University Policy 1005.

Key Changes:

  • Revised Hourly Rates: As part of this transition, we have updated our hourly rates to align with federal guidelines. Please review our current approved hourly rates by clicking here.
  • Monthly Billing Frequency: Changes in our billing frequency have been implemented to streamline processes and enhance transparency. We will no longer bill at the end of a project. Instead, billing will occur on a monthly basis.
  • Service Request Protocols: Updates to our service request protocols to align with the new operational model, including the implementation of FST.

Please note that these adjustments will only impact our fee-for-service model and will not affect the ability to direct charge to grants.

We acknowledge that adapting to this new business model will involve a learning curve, and we appreciate your patience during this process. Your cooperation and understanding are invaluable as we navigate this transition together. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us here or email:

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
