The Center for Research Informatics (CRI) is pleased to announce that our FY27 Recharge Rates are now available in our updated FY27 Price Guide.

While most service rates remain unchanged from FY26, we encourage all clients to review the updated Price Guide to ensure they are referencing the most current pricing and charge models when planning projects or requesting services.

Existing clients should note that all new billable hours/projects initiated in FY27 will follow the FY27 charge models.

The Center for Research Informatics (CRI), in collaboration with UChicago Medicine’s Center for Healthcare Delivery Science and Innovation (HDSI) and Information Technology Services (UCM IT), is transforming how clinicians and researchers access and use healthcare data through the ADAMS Center. By providing centralized data and synthetic datasets, the team makes it possible to explore insights more quickly, reduce risk, and drive meaningful improvements in patient care, without compromising privacy.

The Center for Research Informatics (CRI) and Bioinformatics Core (BioCore) has updated its service rates for Fiscal Year 2026. Rates are reviewed and subject to change annually in accordance with federal recharge center guidelines.

The updated rates will take effect on July 1, 2025, and are now available for review in our price guide on the CRI website. If you have any questions or would like assistance understanding how these changes may impact your current or upcoming projects, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

This workshop will offer an introduction to spatial transcriptomics techniques along with hands-on data analysis experience. Attendees will work with data generated from Visium and GeoMX platforms, exploring our in-house data analysis workflows, tutorials, and real-world applications, including tumor microenvironment and brain tissue studies. Key topics include spatial correlation analysis, deconvolution, differential expression, and the use of Seurat for data analysis. Additionally, participants will learn about alternative approaches for differential expression, such as linear mixed models. Join us for an interactive session featuring hands-on tutorials, expert insights, and a live Q&A!
