Details:

This workshop will be the first in a two-part series offering hands-on training in IPython and Pandas for bioinformatics.

Part I will cover the following topics:

 IPython Notebook (basics, OS interaction, magics)
 Basic Python concepts (data structures, flow control, OOP concepts)
 Pandas (data structures, operations, basic graphing)
 

Stay tuned for Part II next month!
 
This course is most appropriate for those with some programming knowledge. Participants must bring their own laptop computers.
 
The size of the room limits us to 30 participants. Please register to reserve your seat.
