This workshop will be the first in a two-part series offering hands-on training in IPython and Pandas for bioinformatics.
Part I will cover the following topics:
IPython Notebook (basics, OS interaction, magics)Basic Python concepts (data structures, flow control, OOP concepts)
Pandas (data structures, operations, basic graphing)

This course is most appropriate for those with some programming knowledge. Participants must bring their own laptop computers.
